Student Peace Action Network is a grassroots peace and justice organization working from campuses across the US.. We organize for an end to physical, social, and economic violence caused by militarism at home and abroad. We campaign for nuclear abolition. We support a foreign policy based on human rights and international cooperation, and a domestic agenda that supports human and environmental concerns, not Pentagon excess. War is not inevitable. We push for practical alternatives..

Day of Action to Stop CAT: April 13th, 2005
On April 13, join groups all over the world in opposing Caterpillar sales of home-crushing bulldozers to Israel. That day, Caterpillar shareholders will meet in Chicago and will discuss a resolution on sales of bulldozers to Israel.
We, NCSU SPAN, are still planning our action for April 13th with the Middle Eastern North African Student Association (MENASA). We plan to hold a street theatre style demonstration where we construct what represents Palestinian homes out of cardboard. We will also use other boxes to make a few bicycles appear to be CAT bulldozers, which will then destroy the homes. It is going to take place in the brickyard throughout the day. We need all the help we can get constructing the village.
